What do these speeches have in common? Churchill’s wartime broadcasts; Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream”; the Gettysburg Address; Obama’s “Yes, we can” and even Margret Thatcher’s “The lady’s not for turning”.

Where Are You From?

I speak for a living so It surprises a lot of people when they find out I’m an introvert. And that means I find this time of year both enjoyable and also a little confronting.

Lots of end-of-year functions and parties, where everyone expects you to mingle and network making intelligent small talk. If you’re at all like me that can leave you feeling a little awkward.
